These terms apply when you use Contaq (see the legal notice for how to reach us). By creating an account, you agree to them.
A free beta
Contaq is free and still in development. Features may change, break or disappear, and the service may be paused or ended. If we end it, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days in advance, so you have time to copy what you need.
Who can use Contaq
You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Your content
What you add to Contaq stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only as far as needed to run Contaq for you, including sending it to our AI provider (see the privacy page).
Writing about other people
You're responsible for what you write about others. Only add information you came by fairly. Use it for keeping in touch, not for harming, harassing or profiling anyone, and don't record sensitive details such as health, religion, political views or sexual orientation.
The AI can make mistakes
Key points, tags and cleaned-up notes are written by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important before relying on it. You can edit everything.
Fair use
There are daily limits on AI features to keep Contaq fast and affordable for everyone. Don't try to get around them, overload the service, access other people's data, or use Contaq for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This permanently deletes everything in it.
Liability
Contaq is provided free and as is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for lost data or other damage from using it. This doesn't limit liability for intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health, or any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
Law
Portuguese law applies. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes and contact
